113 Kirk Avenue

An article in the December 9th, 1928 edition of the Syracuse Herald described the home by saying, “The house which is situated on a large shrubbed lot, is one of the most attractive on the South Side. Double living rooms extend across the entire front of the house, a wide arch leads into the library, which has a large open hearth and bookcases lining the walls. The paneled dining room is large and very well arranged with built-ins and other features. A kitchen with all modern appointments including butler’s and serving pantries, breakfast nook, etc, completes the first floor plan. On the second floor are three baths and six good-sized sleeping rooms. On the third floor is a large storage closet. The finish throughout is of birch and the floors are inlaid.”
